Stocking my tank.

I'm looking for ideas on stocking my tank. It is a 90 long tank 6ftx1 1/2ftx2ft (aproximitly) Currently it is empty and it is close to done cycleing.
Anyway I would realy like to put a few large fish in there, basicly as large as i safely can. Preferably something along the lines of super hardy and afordible but still impressive. The filtration i have is a home made wet dry with a 20g sump that turns the tank over about 5 times per hour.

any ideas would be great.

Bichirs, impressive as hell, hard to kill and great personalities.

6' x18" x2' is 125 btw.

Just measured it. it must be a 125g then. I had bichars when i first set up the tank and they jumped out. so before i pull the trigger on them again ill have to find a way to make the lid more secure. I realy like the idea of doing a few gulper cats and nothing else but the price tag is scareing me away.
