Hey mfk'ers.
I am finishing stocking my 100g tank, measurements are 60x20x20". I currently have these fish that are going to stay in the tank:

1x Male Convict 4"
1x Male Firemouth 3"
2x Amphilophus Rhytisma 3" (max at 6")

So i am looking for cichlids to add to the tank.
What could i get?
Here are some available cichlids that i like:

Satanoperca Daemon
Geophagus Brasiliensis
Geophagus Surinamensis
Gymnogeophagus Balzani
T-bar cichlid/Sajica
Wild Cought Blue Acara

Could i get any of above i really like the Daemon, Brasiliens and the Acara.

The three fish you have all pretty much max out at 6"
You could get the Acara and the Daemon or just one with those
That might be a bit overstocked, but with adequate filtration and care
it should be fine IMO.

So could i get a pair of acaras or a goup of 3-5 of Daemons?
My current filteration is 620gallons per hour.

Remember the daemon's will hit 10" each SL eventually and can't cope with the aggression level of your centrals. Also, if your Rhytisma pair, they will take up half the footprint of your tank, leaving everything else stuck on one side. I would only do one pair in a tank this size, and then 2-4 individuals.

It sounds like you really like the blue acaras, a pair of them and the pair of rhytismas would be fine. You might also fit the firemouth in there too, but that would be iffy.

Im gonna get the Rhitisma's 100%. I thought that the Daemons would only get 4-6".
So this is what i will do:
Pair of A. Rhytisma
Pair of Blue Acaras
1x Firemouth
And the convict can stay in til i get the Acara's and Rhytisma.

Problem solved. thanks to: Jsm and Darth Pike.

I wish daemon's maxed at 6"!!! They are my favorate SA cichlid, but I have yet to try them becuase of their size (don't have a tank large enough) and their habit of getting bloat. The only Satanoperca species that maxes at 6" is S. pappaterra, the rest all can/will make it to 10" SL eventually (they do tend to be slow growers).

And we will want pics once you get the WC blue acaras and Rhytismas!!
