I recently started a 75G tank, all the fish a bought were about 3.5 inches. I have 1 male EBJD, 1 female JD, 1 pair of blue acaras, 1 tiger oscar and 1 male GT. I have 1 100G canister filter, 2 70G hanging filters,1 sponge filter and 2 55G UV sterilizers. I do 1 33% water change every week. I'm wondering how fast they will grow and how big a tank I will need for them as adults?

my guess, a 75G would be good enough for the pair of JDs, or the Oscar & GT together . . . the blue acaras don't need that much room, a 40-55G tank would be good enough for them, or keep them in the 75G with the Oscar OR the GT (maybe)

so, I'd say you're going to have to make some choices down the road . . . I don't see how you're going to keep all those fish in that one tank . . . too much risk of aggression . . .

if they're all about 3.5" now, then I'd say you'll start seeing trouble in the next month or two . . . I'd be particularly worried about the male EBJD if there is a male GT in the tank . . .

I had almost that exact same stocklist with a major difference being female GT as adults in a 125 gal and they did fine togheter...

I had a large adult male Blue Dempsey, His female, 12" Oscar, Breeding pair of W African Jewels, female Green Terror, 12+" BGK...

The BGK ate all the fry and everyone got along well...

The trick will be getting the male Dempsey and the male GT to coexist... which may take an 8' tank to pull off... The male GT is also likely to be aggressive toward your male Acara...

gt are totall butholes haha. i have to watch my language lol
