Hull, UK
Morning All.

Just having a little think about my tank.

currently, in my 100 gal, 4x2x2ft

2 10" Severums (with a slight temper)
1 12" Pleco
3 3" giant danios
2 4" yoyo loach
1 8" needlefish (like a very small gar)
1 4" synodontis
1 6" whiptail catfish

All in all, its looking quite tidy, but i fancy something new for mid to low water.

Any suggestions for a new fish?

I was thinking an oscar or a pair of fire mouths.

Any alternatives out there? any tips or tricks?

Feedback always greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Craig

I take it you mean 100UK Gallons.

Don't go with the Oscar, gets a bit big for what you're after. I think Firemouths would be a good choice, as would any 5-7" Cichlids like Acaras, but with your current stocking I would go with a couple of Geophagus.

Plenty to choose from so I won't recommend any specific type as it really depends on what you can actually get your hands on in the UK, but here's a handy list.
