Stocking options?

I'm thinking about building a 7 by 4 by 3 foot tank, and here's what I'm thinking about stocking it with.

-2 peacock bass
-2 or 3 bichirs, probably ornates
-After that, I'm pretty much out of ideas. Can someone give me some suggestions? Should I reconsider mixing bichirs with peacock bass? Thanks in advance for the help.

Let me suggest that you build it first, and then think/accumulate stock.

But, I would recommend a ray.

I was worried that a bichir would be more like a big sausage to a peacock bass, but your analogy works fine, too. How would I go about filtering a tank of that size? Would a 55g sump do the trick?
