In a 220 gallon i would like to put 4Oscars 3 silver dollars and one buttikoferi would that be enough aggression to make the tank OK or should I put 5 Dempsey's any other options or combos
well as long as the aggressive fish not challenged their should not many problems I do want more than one fish in there because it is not a small tank any options and I will not leave out the butti unless necessary.

It not that Buttis kill things for fun. Oscar although large and muscular fish aren't built to handle fish like buttis. If you want to get an aggressive fish go jag a lot less risky than a butti. Another thing is buttis are evil from a young age.
Just gonna throw this out there. Yes, a 220 is big, I also have one. But, 4 oscars is a lot of bio load for one. Two Oscars IMO are one of the mellower large cichlids they are like the cow of fish, all they do is eat. And 3 I think a Butti would be too aggressive with Oscars. I may be wrong , but , if it were me I wouldn't risk it. My 220 is stocked with 1 7" Black Belt, 2 female 5-7" Festae, 2 Bala Sharks, n an eclipse cat and I sometimes have aggression with them at this smaller size. Idk 4, 12-14" Oscars and a butti the same size or bigger just sounds like a bad idea to me. I think the oscars would be fine and maybe add some smaller CA/SA cichlids, but the butti is just asking for trouble
