Stocking options

i have a 125 with this stock
1x red shoulder sev
1x green terror
5x spotted silver dollars
1x syno cat
1x hujeta gar

The green terror is starting to become a problem w picking on the others in the tank and is wanted to replace him. Does anybody know of anything that gets around a foot long for a centerpiece ?

If it were me, I'd add 2 or 3 more Severums, and let the shoal be the centerpiece. But...
It's not surprising to me that the GT is becoming problematic,.
Because in their natural habitat "west of the Andes", they are almost the only cichlid.
So playing well with others (especially other cichlids like Severum, that they would never encounter naturally) is not part of its general life style outlook

GTs and that ilk, are very much "unlike" the cichlids in areas "east of the Andes" where many species of cichlids coexist together naturally.

I’ll definitely keep that in mind. I guess the only other big fish i was thinking of was a true parrot . Ive heard they fall into the more semi peaceful category

Uarus maybe? Not a foot long but about the same size as severums. Very peaceful, at least the ones I have. I like Mesonauta too.

Hoplarchus is not a good candidate in a 125, and they are usually not on the semi-peaceful side. Their true colors show once they hit maturity.
