Hi, i have a 60x20x20" tank and i wanna get some poly's. Stocking now is:
2x Convict males 4"
1x Common Pleco 3"
Next week im getting an Albino Senegalus 4".
I want only poly's. Only polys of each could i get, i REALLY like laps.

laps dont look that great too my opinion lol i think upper jaws look better

Yes ok, you think that, i think all polys are beautiful and laps exspecially.
How many of each should i get/could i get?

Get rid of the common pleco. They are not a good tank mates with ganoid scaled fishes (bichirs and gars). They suck out the slime and your bichir might get an infection and might die.

Get any bichir that you like to keep. Becuase even if you start with a sene or a lap, you will eventually be amaze by them and get addicted. You'll end up buying some more till you dicide to collect all the species. Bichirs are the type of the fish that people are easily get addicted to if you got love primitve fish.

yea you should remove pleco they do suck on fish's slime

You should be able to stock A LOT of polys in that tank. I've seen members here with over 30+ Poly in a 180 gallon+. Personally I love all polys too, they all are unique and intriguing in their way.

Ok ill just collect them nice and slowly.

:iagree: All Poly's are intriguing fish, with an amazing history, behaviour, morphology, etc etc etc.......collect whichever you have the space and budget for, and which appeal to you. Tons of great information from the crew here on MFK to help you in your research.

That 180 will be an awesome poly tank. :D
