stocking question- blood parrot

Sorry if this question is dumb- is it completely out of the question to keep an Amano shrimp in a tank with two parrot fish? They are both very peaceful for the most part- I just wouldn't want the amano to be at risk of ending up as lunch...

Yeah don't do that.. my BP's can take out a whole swarm of ghost shrimp.. so the little amino won't stand a chance.. well maybe if he hid well.. but you get my point..

Even if they were tolerated for a period of time, they would just hide out and you'd never see them.

ok thanks guys- I looked around the net for information and wasn't really getting a clear cut answer so I just thought I'd ask- But I assumed it wouldn't be a great idea....

I have blood parrots, and don't let the appearance fool you. they actually also hunt at night, and will get anything that's small enough to fit in their mouth and I've seen them also bash snails on the side of my tank to get the snail meat.
