hi- i had a motoro a few years back i got him when he was 4" i had him in a 75g till he got to be about 7" then i sold him. i really miss having a ray. i found a 125g for $45 on craigslist. is there any species of freshwater ray that can live its whole life comfortably in a 125g(6' by 18")? thanks in advance

darn- hopefully someone somewhere in some musty hot basement breeding room is working on creating dwarf rays!!!!!
you could keep a retic or 2 in that tank for several years same with hytrix but you will need a upgrade...
Yepp as its already been mentioned, hystrix, scobina, and rectics should be fine in there for a couple of years, just mega-overfilter and keep up with maintenance.
