I am currently setting up a 65 Gallon (4foot long) tank and will be looking to stock it with 1 convict cichlid and 1 firemouth as well as a small/medium sized pleco (unsure of species as yet) 4 juvenile clown loaches (they will be moved within a year to a larger aquarium) and a group of deninson barbs.

Is it possible to add another cichlid into this setup? All fish willl be juveniles and can be rehomed if necessary when they get too big.

I have Green Terrors, Jack Dempsey's and Blue Acara's in other tanks and was looking for something a bit different which might work well.

Any ideas welcome.

Cheers

Maybe something that doesn't get too big, like a salvini, or nic would be nice and colorful to add. I'm not quite sure what else you are interested in..

I thought about a Nic, I think they have 2 at a dodgy LFS for sale as a assorted cichlid along with a load of Africans. I will try get a photo and post for ID on here.

Nics are great. They have a lot of personality.

So I took some photos could anyone ID these fish for me?

Pretty sure the yellowish one isn't ca/sa but was thrown in with oscars a prochilodis and some silver dollars.

thanks
