I have a 180 gallon tank, 6' x 2' x 2'. I was thinking of keeping a male Midas, a male Green Terror, a female Festae, and two Oscars. Do you think that is too much for this tank and for the most part will they all get along? I know there will be some fighting due to establishing territories but as long as they don't kill each other. I plan on purchasing them around the 2 - 3' size and raising them together.
Or the other option would be to get some basses? What's the ideal amount and what type do you recommend? How big will these guys get in a 180 gallon?
Although I like arowanas and red tail catfishes, I am trying to choose fishes that will stay around the 12" mark.
