I am considering purchasing a 860 gallon octagon tank and then getting some peacock bass for it. Would this tank be good for say 8 Cichla Intermedia and 8 Orinos or is that too many? If so I can split them off into their own tanks when they get bigger.

I have a supplier that is getting some in. Since I have first dibs on the shipment when it comes I will keep the ones I want and sell the rest.

What are you gonna do? Put it in the middle of a room? How wide is it?

I would start out with that many then if you have to sell some if you feel it is overcrowded.

I have 93 tanks setup now. I am trying to buy a place and then build a fish barn so it wouldn't get setup until I move.

height being 78, width being 36 by 36? you are better off going with your original plans if its longer and wider
Ok. it would be cheaper anyway to just build. I was thinking somewhere around 8' to 10' long by 4' wide by 4' tall.
