I want to do a african biotope in my 125 gal. I have a african odoe pike, and a couple different bichirs, what else can I put in there with them? Would a couple synodontis cats be ok or would the bichirs eat them?

a featherfin syn would be okay. mostly, I would be concerned about the odoe because they get big and eat smaller fishies. Other characins or barbs would be okay as long as you get them too big for the pike to eat. some african knives could work. ctenopoma would be risky if the pike is big enough to eat them but Ive heard of them getting along if you introduce them when the pike is small and it grows up with them.

S. eupterus would be ok as far as synos...big enough to not get eaten.
