Well next Sunday my tank will be delivered. I currently have a harlequin tusk that will be added to the tank. I am looking for a suggested stocking list of fish. I want variety, but would also like some less common fish. Here is my current idea:

1. Yellow tang (my wife really wants one :D)

2. Blonde naso tang

3. Queen Angelfish

4. harlequin tusk

5. Spiny box puffer

6. halfmoon trigger

7. broomtail wrasse

I'm open to anything and every idea. Keep in mind the tank is 7' x 24" x 30" and 265 gallons. Also the tank will be a FOWLR setup.

C'mon guys/gals you have to have a suggestions. Well anyways I've narrowed it down to which one fish should I add. Currently I have in rubbermaid tubs w/ live rock; 1- tomato clown, 1 - harlequin tusk, 1 - yellow tang, 1 - naso tang. I intend on adding a puffer and queen angel later on. I would like to add one last fish though, either a trigger (that won't kill everything) or some other odd ball such as a lionfish. So what should it be?

what about an eel or grouper?
with the puffer and angel a lion isn't a good choice

axs, did you get a broomtail? I have one scheduled for delivery tomorrow, CAN'T WAIT.

I'm planning on it being the centerpiece of my 240, but I'm worried he may be too big over the years..time will tell.

we have one at work, since about 3 years ago, he's only like 12-13'' im sure he'd be fine in a 240..

This wouldn't work with the trigger but a school of anthias (like 8 or more) would look sick in a tank that big. In one of my 150 gallons, I have 6 barletts and 6 lyretails. They both make beautiful displays. For coloration, how about a fairy wrasse.

even something like a christmass wrasse, which is nothing but color lol. Im not sure on there max size, something like 6" or maybe a little less, so it may not work but im trying lol.
