Finally putting together my 350g indoor pond. What should I put in it?? Keep in mind I'm moving to a new house this summer where I'm seting up my 1250g indoor pond so outgrowing the 350g isn't an issue

go saltwater, Gymnothorax funebris or other good-size predators for the eventual 1250 gal

Saltwater ponds are sick, if you got the money, go for it. If you're looking for Freshwater, I'd say put some Arowana, just make sure they can't jump out of the pond

My roommate has several salt tanks ranging from 30g to 550g. I "own" a few fish/eel/coral that I keep in his tanks and that alone is expensive. knowing how much he spends on his tanks, I'd much rather stick with fresh.

Im definitely looking into a pair of arowana. Im going to try to stick with juvies when I stock as I already have a TSN and BGK both between 4-6 inches that will be going in.

how would rays do in an indoor pond? the 350 is 6ft in diam x 2.5ft high. the 1250 is 9ft in diam x 3ft high if i remember correctly

careful of the tsn. at 6 inches it will devour anything its size or smaller. I fear your bgk at 6 inches and your juvie aros will disappear, regardless of tank size.

the tsn is close to 4in. hes basically by himself in a 125g and i have him on a very specific diet. the bgk is 6-7in and id probably get aros in the mid range of 7-10in.
should i just do a catfish only pond?

i say stock it with at least 2 rays for now until u move then add more lol!
