Hey guys,

Hypothetical..What would you stock in a 3x3x3 cube? (200gal)

For some reason congo tetras come to mind for me. But don't let that go into your thoughts!

Would love some ideas. I'm thinking about trying to build a tank and this sounds like an interesting size.

Due to depth it'd be good to have defined top, mid and bottom dwellers that stay in their areas.

I'd like to keep stock lists to all fish from the same continent (doesn't have to be some country or area).

Would also prefer community tank.

So i guess to refine the criteria:

1. Community
2. Want surface, mid and bottom dwellers
3. All from same continent
4. Must be able to stay in tank for life.

Cheers,
Troy.

How about some clown kill fish/halfbeaks for a top dweller. Red convo tetras or plain for a mid level and panda corked for the bottom.

It'll give lots of color in ur tank.

Whoops didn't see from the same continent. Sorry!

Got a pic of the tank? Cool dimensions.

Staying on the same continent may be tough, what are your preferences?

EDIT- Re read and saw congo tetras...A group of tetras would be pretty awesome.

let's see top of the tank would be pink chalceus group, middle level I would add some leaf fish, discus or something, then bottom level 1-10 species of Amazon catfish. amazon theme tank is what I would do, then plant that tank like a jungle

@pirahnaman00 It's not built, just a daydream at the moment. I was thinking of giving building a tank a go and decided this is what i'd do for dimensions. Sorta between a small and a large tank in size and have space for it. Mind you, reaching to the bottom in the 300 (2.5' deep) is wet enough without adding another 6" lol! But yeah.

I'll try and get my hands on a catalog to see what fish are available here before doing this.
May end up changing criteria too once it's built, depending on where it ends up/if i build it. I'd like to but living with parents tends to not be as supportive to things like this :P
