i just bought a 120g (4x2x2) tank and thought i'd see if anyone had any good suggestions for fish or combination of fishes for a tank this size. thanks

my tank has a large mix of cichlids, some of which i reccomend and some i dont:

I reccomend:
labidochromis, red zebras, venustus (be careful though, they get big eventually and are usually predatory), borleyi, red empress, ob peacocks (mixed varieties), maingano (make sure he's not dominant, otherwise he'll torture everyone. if he isn't dominant, he'll only quarrel with other blue/black fish), Labeotropheus (both fulleborni and trewavase), duboisi (make sure they are one of the first cichlids in the tank, after it's cycled).

I don't reccomend:
Kennyi (big, mean, and likes to hybridize), Salvini, Flowerhorn, Mayans

all of the fish above i have in my 120 gallon tank together, except the flowerhorn, who i just moved to her own tank. i don't reccomend salvini or mayans because they don't usually get along, and the fact that mine do is an exception to the rule. the salvini stay out of everyone's way and the mayan is much bigger than the other fish he lives with: he could wipe out the tank in one day if he wanted to!

of course you could mix and match these and other types of cichlids, these are just reccomendations from my own tank. any questions? good luck!
