I have a 48x14x20 58 gallon tank with 2 featherfin catfish and a female salvini which is very aggressive, I have tried some other fish with it like carpintis and a small vieja but they all pick on the featherfins. Could some one suggest a tank make that could put up with the salvini's aggression but be peaceful enough to not try and murder my featherfins?
Stocking suggestions??

I've had one cichlid that picked on a feather fin and that was a dovii but he was paired up and tearing into anything that moved even outside of the tank but usually featherfins get mean enough to join in or split up a cichlid fight I would say a small vieja

Mmm I have really been turned off viejas now as the 2 I have owned have turned out to be hybrids and don't really have the best personalities either. Do you think Acarichthys heckelii would go ok? I know of an aquarium shop who has them instock for $75 each at about 12-15cms.
