I have a 55g with a silver dollar, a sun catfish, and a senegal bichir. I was looking for some advice for more active swimmers. If you have any compatible fish that come to mind, please leave a suggestion. Ive considered adding an oscar as well. Would it be aggressive toward my current fish?

I would dump the sun catfish and silver dollar. The dollar needs a group of bare minimum 4 to feel safe and sun catfish get to big I would say ditch both keep the bichir add 6 giant danios and a blue acara should work out
I'd remove the silver dollar too. I had six in a 55 and it wasn't enough room for them.
I'd also remove the sun fish.
I also wouldn't add the Oscar.
Keep the bichir and build around that. I've seen bichirs eat tiger barbs and silver dollars so I don't know if dithers are a good idea lol
