I have a tank that is 125 gallons. It’s 72 inch by 18 inch by 24 inch. I have it running with a fx6 with a rose queen, red Texas and Florida far in it. Those fish will be moved to a different tank shortly and I was wondering what to stock the tank with. I wanted to do Arowna or peacock bass but I’m pretty sure the tank is to small. What should I put in the tank. I don’t want to do tropical fish though.

Before u add any fish i think u gotta figure out if the 125g is a permanent tank for you. Even the gar will outgrow and be too big for the 125g.

I was told the Florida far will be fine in that tank at max size. This will be a permanent tank for a while so I want something that I will be able to keep permanently and for the gar, I have a friend that has huge tanks that will take him.

Florida gar will definitely outgrow a 125. And it’s your tank. You have to live with it. Choose what you can manage and have desire for.
