Tank is a 125g 6 ft tank it has 2 aqueon 55/75 filters on it now thinking of adding a 3rd packed with sponge to polish the water a bit.

Currently has
3 Polypterus senegalus(2 reg one albino)
2 EB Acara
3 Gold Marble Angles
2 BN plecos that are staying (8 juvies that leave in a couple months)

Already have and will be adding
2 Red Hump Geos (when they are big enough)
1 Polypterus Delhzi (should be here by the end of the week)

Do you think I am topped out there or can I get away with adding another 12-14 inch bichir or two. Eyeballing one I saw over the weekend

That doesn't seem like nearly enough filtration. If you are using Aqueons, at least go with 3x110. And possibly a canister too.

Check out the SunSun canisters for more filtration.

It seems to me that the tank is already pretty heavily stocked. However, I only see the two plecos as your borrow dwellers. I think that if you're willing to add filtration and keep up with the water changes then you could probably get away with it, but do you think you should...

Yeah is kinda what I figured too. I do 75% water changes once a week. When I move the geos in I will move the angels out to try and get it down a bit. Will be moving the juvie plecs out in a week or two as well since I am setting up a new tank for the wife (she saw african bush fish and fell in love with them) the juvie plecs can hang out in the tank I set up for them.
Just wanted a second opinion stocking is always a little odd when ya got polys cus they tend to be less active. I guess the 4 big chiclids (once they have grown) will be enough. All 4 are under 3 inches now.

never been big on canister filters been considering an over head sump. I have the space behind the tank for a 6 ft long 5 inch wide over head sump.
Guess I could Make a 6ft long canister filter out of PVC but put it over head.... hmm
