125 gallon, flual fx5, Aq Advisor gave me 110% stocking and 170% filtration with the following fish
Right now I have;
1 ropefish
1 sengal bichir
1 bala shark ( I know groups are reccomended but he's happy)
1 pictus catfish

Want to buy;
2 hujeta characin
1 peacock eel
1 indo tiger fish
1 delhizi bichir

Does this look decent or will there be issues. I was concerned about aggression spooking the hujeta (Indo, blood parrot), peacock eel harrassed/eaten (bichir). Any suggestions.

I'm actually planning a 125 with similar stock. From what i've read, as long as the peacock eel is similar size it shouldn't be a problem. Thought i'd throw out a suggestion, i'm planning on finding a shoal of Charax gibbosus for a predatory fish on the top/middle, if you think that might suit you better than a hujeta.

Charax gibbosus are only 5 inch fish though. The indo would tear that up as would the bichirs and blood parrot. I love hujeta they are the main priority. You said similar stock what else are you going for?

I can vouch for 5 inch fish being ok with senegal and delhezi bichirs, depending on how aggressive your individual bichirs are.

I was planning a senegal, peacock eel, african knife, and charax gibbosus. Little different, but similar in the sense that the senegal, and peacock eel were giong to be introduced together. I've never kept any indo tiger datnoids, so i have no idea. I've never had hujeta, could they be housed in a 125? they seem easier to find then charax gibbosus, and i really just need some form of fast fish to wipe out any extra feeders

They are stupid fast, go all s-shaped and spring out with amazing speed. I am going to get a pair for they do better together. A 125 should be fine, all other fish you listed will be towards the bottom generally and hujeta lurking way up top. I would definitely go for them, I just hope they don't top 12" which seems to be captive size. I found some online for $10 a piece, usually labeled freshwater barracuda or rocket gar. Let me know what you decide on and if you want links but local purchase will be cheaper after shipping costs. As for the senegal, mine is extremely lovely and well behaved, my concern was if I got a delhezi. Look into ropefish as well, I was petting mine within a few days and they are majestic/fairly active critter.
