There is a creek/watershed down by my house, and it is no longer in function and doesn't lead anywhere.there is some cattails, algea, and some water plants.there also is a tree with long branches.it is about 3 feet deep at it's most, and when it rains it is at least 5 feet.it also doesn't freeze in the winter.the only thing in it is some frogs.Me and a couple of guys went to clean it out,and it wasn't that bad.one end leads to a shallow pond like area, and the other leads to a dead end with a few rocks.there also is another small pond like area under the tree. Then,it just leads to a natural stream area, closed of by shallow water and rocks.I sometimes see young kids try to fish there, not realizing they won't catch anything.which gave me the idea:maybe I should put some fish in there!I checked with the county laws, and it currently is disfunctional and has no use. it is quite long too.I was planning on putting some of the natives, smaller ones of course.Something like bluegill, sunfish, perch, bullheads, rock bass, pumpkinseeds, crappie, and maybe even goldfish or plecos.it also looks big enough to house a couple of chain pickerel or grass pickerel.I will check other laws to see if it is okay.
