any suggestions are welcome
i was leaning towards a comunity with a buncha tetras black ghost knife and mabey a disscus and some angels

BGKs will eventually eat your tetras so take it into consideration. If you wish to keep discus, you may want to try sub-adults at 4 inches. They prefer temperature at 84 degrees and higher so be particularly selective in choosing its tankmates. Cardinal tetras, blue rams, angelfish, sterbai cories and rummy-nose tetras are pretty tolerant of it and suit them well enough.

I've always been a fan of a discus tank with some cardinals, saw pics of that in a TFH magazine back in the mid-90's and has been something I've wanted for ages

Roseline sharks look nice and make good community fish. Only downside is that they are pricey.
