I am planning to stock a 300 gallon with rift lakes. (The tank will come as soon as the snow melts enough for me to drive safely)
My question is, what would you guys stock it with? I have seen some tanks mixed with malawi and tang. I have never done it before, but what are your opinions as to this idea?
I really like to have a big size contrast. So I was thinking something like fronts and shellies??? LOL Just a thought.
Any good candidates for the tank? I figure I could look at every cichlid profile there is on cichlid-forum but I won't know how people felt about keeping half of the fishes on the site.
If no ideas than I may just have to go with an arowana and some rays.
