stocking?

hello everybody, i will be consolidating my two 10 gallon tanks along with my 29 gallon into my 55 gallon and i was wondering if anybody had any interesting ideas on what to stock my 10 or 29 gallons with.
i also have two empty 20 gallon (long) tanks

make a sump out of your 20L and use it for your 29.

but a sump would be a very good idea
i have no clue how i would make one though so can you give me some tips please?
i was thinking a pvc pipe going from the 29 gallon to the 20 gallon and having filter media in the first half of the 20 where the water will first go. and the have a divider so i can have live plants on the other half of the 20 gallon sump. then i would have a pump goingfrom the 20 to the 29 as a return.
does that make sense?
