Stocking?

I was originally going to get a smb, but i am not sure that will be doable because they need a tank so big I cant afford, unless I see a really good deal near me...
But anyways the reason I wanted a bass was because they are a good personality fish that will eat from your hand, recognize you, etc. Also, they have to be an active fish. Another characteristic I need is that its got to be a predator fish that will eat little fish, etc.
But does anyone know of any fish that have these traits, but will be ok in a 180? Also, It doesent have to be a fish that will dominate a tank and eat everything, i'd like to have some sort of catfish on the bottom.

yes this will be my first big tank, but i fish a lot and have had smaller tanks

if your looking for a good predator i would recommend getting a single fish that would be extremly happy to have a 180 to himself such as a wolf fish or black piranha but always research before buying !!

Oscar.... don't recommend live feeders unless they are quarantined.

I saw some payaras and they look really cool. How many in a 180 and what tankmates?

you want a warmouth. you can buy them from zimmerman's, aquabid, or catch one in the Allegheny River watershed.

blue eyed catfish 180 gallon by himself. they are mean SOB's
