Yay! Another stocklist question! Our favorite!

My 38 gallon looks awfully empty right now. I probably will move one leopard ctenopoma into in the future, but are there any cool fish that will fit into it? Current stocklist is in my sig.

Acaras, festivums, keyholes, loaches, plecos, doradids...There are plenty of options.;)

it all depends on what fishes are available in your neck of the wood. you can stock your tank with live plants a get rams, anything from the apistolgramma family,tetra's......there are endless possibility's.

With the two pictus cats and the geophagus, would a few pakistani/yoyo laoches be too much for the bottom?

Yoyos reach 6 inches max and are also fast growers so they're definitely too much for the bottom.

most peaceful cichlids go great with ctenopoma, especially larger ones like festivum and jurupari

Are there any loaches besides kuhlis that would go okay in there?

bump

anyone else?

I have a crew of tiny Shistura Savona that are super fun to watch and fast enough to not get eaten by anyone.

They do need a good flow and slightly cooler well aerated water and they are really active little things.... not aggressive but they may bother slower moving or delicate fish because they like to swim alongside the other fish almost like they are attached to them sometimes.
