What do I do when someone steals one of my photos for their website? An aquarium store in Texas is using one of my photos on their website without my permission, and hasn't even given me a credit. I emailed them before Christmas informing them that it is my photo, and provided a link to the original Flickr page. I told them I won't ask them to take it down right away until we have a chance to work something out.
If this site wants to use my photo, what can I expect for credit or possible payment? What if they refuse to take it down, or totally ignore me? I know it's the holidays, so I'm giving them some time to respond. But I'm afraid they won't reply at all and just leave the photo on their site.
