My oscar is always wanting more food lately he never acted like this i have always fed him about 4-6 pellets and that used to always do him lately he just wants more i have boosted his pellet intake to about 5-8 should i stop feeding him so much i feed him twice to three times a day is he just being greedy or am i overfeeding him???.

glutony is a fishes biggest sin , you should put him on a diet and feed him only what you think is enof for him , like 8 pellets a day till he slims down a lil . thats what i do with my fish otherwise they keep eating and eating
How big is your Oscar and how big are the pellets? Should get by without getting fat or being malnourished on 2 pellets a meal, twice a day.
Meduim size pellets i was gonna get the bigger ones but i thought he should be ok with the meduim ones and i don't really want to only feed him two pellets a day.
I'd say if he is already almost adult sized then 5-6 pellets a meal just seems like a hungry oscar too me.
my FH is like that, no matter what he constantly wants more, he's not obese(yet), but maybe just cut the food down to say 3-4 pellets 2x a day until he slims down a bit. or you could just get an mini underwater tredmill and put the O on an excersise program
