Stone cat (Noturus flavus)

Anyone kept one? I have 2 that I caught. They swallowed hooks so I kept them in hopes that they will live. even with hooks in their bellies they still managed to eat some krill till it looked like they were gonna pop the first night I had them. I am out at work now so it will be a few days and I will post some pics. The biggest one was 6 1/2" long, and the smallest was 4 1/2" long.

sorry guys the military has me under other obligations right now. I live at work for five days at a time. I will be home tuesday night so I will try to post the pics then or on wensday. I don't know much except they eat like little hogs and the state record for montana is 10" and 1/2lb. They seem to do excellent even though I climatized them from 58 degree f. water to 75 f. water. They are kinda your typical catfish eat until about to explode and lay on the bottom rolling in the current on their fat bellies. I caught about 20 that night, I kept these two because they swallowed hooks. I promise to put up picks soon. you guys can wait a few more days can't you?

Those are nice and a decent size for a smaller tank cat, they max at around 12".

well the little one is the only one still alive and he coughed up his hook the other day so no worries there! I'll have to go the about it the hard way to get the hook out of the big one. I got him in the freezer still lol.
