Why not, they're bettas. Its not like they need a 6' tank.

I fit a tank in my kitchen easily. ?

Get a really small diameter siphon hose for the huge betta tank, then you won't end up brooding them in your mouth.
Your newest avatar pic resembles Geo cheeks, "holding" & such....
that's kind of a compliment. in the fish world.
 
I definitely know the feeling, I've liked labyrinth fish for quite awhile. I've actually been thinking about making a West/Central African biotope with Microctenopoma or Ctenopoma sp. for my next tank, maybe some Phractolaemus ansorgii as well (another cool fish that also does well in oxygen-poor water, due to its two-chambered swim bladder that can function as a lung). There are many cool wild-type bettas too, though I've never kept any.

I'd try to make room if I were you, labyrinth fish are certainly interesting fish.
