I'm in Chicago for a couple of days and was wondering if there are any stores that would be good to check out. Anyone have Amy suggestions?

Old town aquarium, small but very nice.

some stores just out of chicago are Ocean Aquarium Design, Living Sea Aquarium, Aquarium Adventure, and Old Orchard Aquarium.

You can skip aquarium adventure. That place is a complete joke. The "salesmen" hound you like youre buying a 60" flat screen.

Hands down the best fw lfs I've ever been to, if you decide to head out that way I recommend aquatica in tinley park. Its mostly sw and has a cool shark pond.

went to animal island for the first time today, and i'd I was very impressed with their selection. Not the cleanest tanks, but they definitely have the best selection for for an MFKer. Walked out with 2 polypterus

Awesome! They usually have a good selection of polys. And the best selection in general.

I dont really care for aquatica. If you dont have a salt water tank youre not missing anything.
