I gotta store an acrylic tank outside for a month. What's the best solution so the sun won't cause serious damage? Is a tarp sufficient?

The worst possible scenario is lopsided temperature, where one side is really hot and one is really cold, it could causes uneven stress and warping.

Ideally it would be in the shade, but if thats not possible you can try a tarp, but the ground is still pretty cool. It's risky.

I am faced with a similar situation. High heat and UV light can both be problems. Mine is in the bed of my truck parked in the shade and will be covered by tarps after today. I am not sure exactly how long it will be before I set it up, but hopefully these precautions are sufficient to prevent any structural or visible damage to the tank.
