so i retested my water as it seems cloudier than usual and i have anammonia reading of 1.0 ppm my tank has been cycled and stocked for a month with no problems filtration is 2 ac110 on a 58 gallon all i did was a 20 % wc today but i used prime and stability i had a dead tetra that died over night and i didnt find it till this afternoon could this be the cause i dosed with prime and stability again all fish seem to be fine at the moment

Could be from the dead fish, I would keep an eye on it with regular testing and do water changes to keep ammonia levels under .25ppm

Hey troll. If ya wanna gripe about some one's grammar, at least make sure your use of it is proper. 31 post by you at this point and you yet to have added or asked anything of value.:duh:

yes i will do another water change tommorow. i just was shocked i had a spike, my waters been perfect since it was cycled

Do you have nitrite, or just ammonia? I'm thinking this spike is because of the dead fish that you found. You may want to hold off on feeding or feed very lightly until it gets back to zero.

a) I'm not a troll. Not here, anyway.
b) I'm more of a lurker here than a poster. :chillpill:
