Ive had a bala shark for almost 2 years now it was large (12") when I bought it, came with the 55 gallon tank I bought. Up until the past 2 weeks it has been feeding fine on flake and pellet food. About 2 weeks ago it began ignoring the food and has been eating live crickets dropped in the tank for my african butterfly. Is this abnormal and does it pose any danger to the bala?

hehehe... no problem bro! my bala @ 5inches eats crickets that was meant for my aro! he even snatches it form aro mouth! haha! talk abt courage! my aro is 18inch! can easily bite the bala! lol!
i have a 60 cms shark, and i never see him eating, i know he does because he keeps fat, but i never ever see him eat! i've only had him for like 2 months, and he's anything but shy, but watching him eat is a dream yet to be accomplished... not even with the ligths out... lol
