Hey guys I have a 3" Siamese Flying Fox (Siamese Algae Eater, SAE) in my 30g tank. He's usually out and swimming in the water column, but as of the last few hours he has been hiding. He still ate some flakes but went right back into hiding. Then I noticed that his upper jaw barbels are gone. I don't think he was nipped... the Rainbows he is with have never messed with him, and even if they did, they are fin nippers, not face nippers. And it's not ammonia, I did a water change 2 days ago. I lowered the current and he seems a bit more active, but I just wanted some advice. I added a dose of Aqua Plus just to be safe. Any help would be greatly appreciated, he's one of my favorite fish.
