Ok, So I have a male RD approximately 5inches in length which I had for about a month. Hes going great, and is displaying all the RD behaviour that he should and his colours are starting to slowly come out as I get him better conditioned.
But, Ive noticed that he has gotten in the last week black colouration on his fins, around the edges of his main fin (Excuse the layman terms), on the under side of his actual tail right where the meat of the fish meets the fin, as well as various black tips on his other fins. On his arm fins
ROFL there is some black streaks. I feed him twice a day with a mixture of freeze dried krill, blood worms, feeder guppies and pellets, water parameters are ammonia 0 nitrites 0 nitrates 3ppm water kept at around 78-80 degrees farenheit.
Im sorry I cant post pics, but hopefully someone who has had previous experience with this could help me treat it or simply tell me my RD is getting black tips on his fins
