strange dark scale on top or silver aro

so dead center, on top, in the middle of my aro's head, one of his scales are much darker than the rest. Like, a dark dark grey, but not quite black.

He is acting normally, eating regularly and what not.

just wondering if this dark scale is any cause for concern?

my only guess is that your aro lost the scale in that spot and is healing itself... when ever my aro loses its scale the area where the scale was turns a bit off color. goes away with my time, just keep your water cleen.

Agree with Colton on that.. prob you could post a picture mate.. check around the tank to see if there are any scales lying around..
