I just now got the idea for this and thought that it could be a fun thread. List any odd behavior that your fish displays... I'll go first. My new tiger knife will come up to the surface to have his head rubbed, even when's too full to be interested in being hand-fed. :hitting:

Umm...the pikes I used to have would grab my oscars tail and drag it backward...let it go...then catch it again and drag it backward...was actually kinda funny to watch....:P

i dont think i have any fish that have weid habits

but i do care for a SW stingray at where i work for volunteer time

this ray is huge about 30 inches in diameter and during feedin time he will swim up the wall of the tan kand do a half barrel role so then hes upside down and hell swim on the side of the tank where the food is, he actually wants the person feeding to drop a squid right in his kisser if it dosent make it to his mouth he'll make a "cup" and draw the squid toward his mouth.

he have another ray in the petting pool, we call him porky (for obvious reasons),
and during feeding time he will jump half way out of the water sticknig to the tank and make these sucknig noises and flap his disk asgressively and get everyone wet. Hes basically saying GIVE ME FOOD NOW!!!!, but we cant give him food because hes half way out of the water so we have to gently force him back down and give him a handful of krill

hes my favorite fish at that place

i sohuld get pics of these rays

saturday need soem batteries though, lol.

i wonder if FW rays are the same way??

I can only invision the spectacle....LOL....oh what a image.....I've seen it done before many times with rays at aquariums...very kewl to see! BTW...I just realized that I broke 1000 posts! :D WOOO!! I'm catchin up to yaz bro!

U don't know my capabilities...ahh hahaha....I mean think about it...I'm only about 550 posts behind you.....and i started a month later than you.....i don't see a problem.....:P...the RACE IS ON!!

I had a bristlenose pleco that loved to be petted and when you did he would latch onto my finger... and an oscar that would always attack my white callaway hat like literally attack it and run full speed into the glass I don't wear it around his tank anymore...

I think my oscars going crazy.... hell put his head to the glass, open his mouth, and just swim against the glass as hard as he can shaking his head vigorously, like hes trying to get out of the tank. Wonder y he does it, anyone else's oscars ever behave like this?
