Hi guys, I have a question, I have a female midas and a female managuense that have both laid eggs on the same rock. The rock is "L" shape, one used the bottom and the other the side. I know that they are both females because I saw each of the laying eggs. My midas killed it's sibling when it paired up with the managuense, I'm now assuming that it was also a female. My question is why did neither of them pair with my male convict that is in the same aquarium & is this common? Thanks for any help.
