So I posted http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/threads/dwarf-pike-cichlid-not-eating.650094/
about a week ago explaining basically my filter died and my tank dropped in temp so my pike cichlid got sick so to heal him I tried raising the temp and adding salt. I now know the salt was a bad idea as I have catfish and other salt sensitive fish. So now i noticed one cat got really bloated so I put him in quarantine constantly adding fresh water and removing the salt that's been going on for a few days and looking in my tank today I saw this. I'm not sure if it's hole in side or even if it was there before. He's also gotten a little plump too so I'm nervous he's going to get like the other one which is twice his size (sorry can't really get a pic of the one in quarantine) anyway I just want to know if based on this pic could you tell me if somethings wrong.

It could be a couple of things but can't be sure. Post water parameters and we'll start there.

Sorry. Crappy internet lately. My pH might be a little high at ~7.6 but it's steady and I always heard steady pH slightly outside the proper range is better than unstable pH in the right range
Ammonia 0ppm
Nitrites 0ppm
Nitrates 0ppm

It's really not heavily populated but it is very heavily planted. So I was sure those parameters were fine. But I just double checked.

Hmmm weird. I'll redo all my testing tomorrow cuz it's been running for like three months. I just assumed the plants were completely wiping that out since there's just a few small fish in a 50 gallon tank with so many plants....

It's normal to see 0 nitrate in very heavy planted tank with very light fish stock. I have 0 nitrate in my planted tank and I'm actually need to use high old nitrate water from other tank to feed my planted tank weekly....

Now there are these little white specks all over my tank. They might be snail babies but I am not sure so just wanna check.
Might not be the best pic. Sorry
