I made this stand for my 75g. It's strong but it has flex in it if you move it. I'm looking to make it very ridged just for me to sleep better at night lol. I've had it setup over a week an no issues, but i just wanna make it stronger. I was thinking putting another piece of 2x4 at each corner where the legs meet the support around. I still plan on making a shelf for the bottom and putting cabinet doors up as well but I would like to make those as the final touches.

Any thought would help,

Thanks

Add some L brackets and angle braces along with a couple of 2x4s cut down to the right length and place in the middle or wherever you think its not that sturdy and you'll be able to sleep much better :)

Hello; Plywood panels on the back and sides should help take some of the flex out as well as the diagionals already mentioned. Think triangles. Extra verticle braces can not hurt also.

^^^ I was think and extra set of legs in the middle but I don't think it is needed. I'll do the L-Brackets and a backboard, I think that should take care of everything
