I have had this wc marble ray for about two weeks. The first week went great it was getting along with other rays and eating everything I put in the tank. Monday it stopped eating and started swimming. It would swim in the water at all levels up and down the glass and then it would stop in front of the tank returns and let the water run over it. I didn’t think anything of it at first but then it didn’t stop. It did this for about 36 hours straight. Neither my wife nor I saw her on the sand all that time and she is home while I am at work. I then took her out of this tank and put her in another tank that is on the same system (125gal). She stopped swimming and buried herself in the sand. She is by herself so I can tell she has eaten a little bit of food that I have put in but not a lot. She has been swimming a lot still but not as before until last and today. She is also hanging out in the flow a lot more than when I moved her from the big tank. There is nothing in the tank other than two return lines and the overflow box and sand on the bottom but she is hurting the edge of her disk on something. No other fish or rays are acting abnormal. The ammonia is at 0 nitrite is at 0 and nitrate is at 0. The system does a 30 gal water change every day and the system has about 600gal total water volume.
I don’t know if this is just stress related or if it from a parasite or something. I cant see anything on the ray’s top or bottom except for the damage to its disk. Can anyone help me out with what might be going on and what I can do about it?
Thanks
Kurt

Obviously something is bothering her IMO water and more clean water then more water has always worked wonders for any fish of mine and a dash of natural salt to aid in Oxy transfer on the gills ....:)

I forgot to mention that when I put her in tank by herself I took the timer off and the lights have not been on the whole time. There is no red on her underside. Her skin looks normal except around her disk where she has rubbed it on things I guess. She has not eaten anything in the last 24 hours and has not stopped swimming yet for that time period. Has anyone seen anything like this before?
