hello all,

been raising an rtg for the past month, things going great, eating machine, and growing and coloring well......

recently have come across an issue --- i think it may be a stress thing due to some recent frequent tankmate changes and water changes.....but tell me what you think....

anytime i have the lights on - he will not eat and doesn't swim around much, the minute i turn them off (the second actually) he begins to swim freely, eat like a machine, and act like nothing is wrong.....

i am guessing he has been a little stressed lately, and doesn't want the lights on for now......

anything i should do? i plan on leaving the lights off for a week or so....

You must have mean't you were raising a jar ;) My jar did this for awhile but finally got more comfortable in the tank. He got shy when I removed the duckweed cover. I would just keep the lights on during daylight and feed him at night or early morning when the light is off.

no....i meant an ASIAN...CUZ I AM IN CHINA....

haha....

coming back to the states in september....then it will be a jar

try to leave them on anyway. my other fish act crazy when the lights first get turned on. then swimming around like whatevs
