my flowerhorn that I have had for a little while(probibly around 4-6 months) used to always swim up and down the glass and was active... know it swims a little when I am not near the tank but hides when I come near the tank... I don't get it!!!:(!!!! The flowerhron is about 4 inches and it has a 5 inch seganal birchir as a tankmate. the ammonia is about 0-.25, nitrite is about 0-.25 and nitrates are about 20 ppm the tank is a 36x18x24 65 gallon aquarium... i recently did a WC and I barley remember the python bumping into my FH but not really hard and that probebly wouldn't cause this! Help this is one of my faviriote fish and i want its personality back:(:irked:!!!!

Oh and i just walked near the tank and it was near the top of the tank and probiblly happy as usuel but when i walked in it swam really fast to the corner of my tank and quickly develpoed the stress bars that stressed cichlids sometimes get...

look mate that sometime happend with amercian cichild leave it some days
and if that doesn't work you can make her get familiar to you by using her fav food like fresh shrimp put the shrimp above the tank and make her come and eat till she get back to normal when it up to you

it'll be ok ... lots of sa/ca types get stressed over tank maintenance... dont stress it more ,just go back to reg. routine..
