My 9" HBG had jumped and hit the top of the tank which caused him to loose one of his scale ( first time for him I guess ). A couple of days have passed and he has been hiding around in the corners constantly. Isn't eating aggressively in my presence but when left alone he eats it up. Whenever he has a look at me he swiftly hides in the same corner. How shall I help him out ?

Your best bet is just to give it time. He will eventually remember you and become calmer. I’ve noticed whenever fish are stressed from jumping, aggression, moves, etc. they are quick to hide and not act themselves. After about two weeks they are usually back to normal.
