hi,
FYI to anyone who is interested; strictly fish has a ton of different types of gymnogeophagus right now. gymnogenys, labiatus, the rhabdotus sp.
they were like $10 per 1.5-2" fish, which i think is not bad considering you would have to ship a bunch from somewhere else and it would end up being more expensive per fish.

more information on the store http://www.strictlyfishlakewood.com/

thought i'd share the info with the forum.

Thanks for the info Ewok. I gotta check out this store, they say they have a huge selection of african cichlids. Most LFS in OC have really poor selection of african cichlids.

I wouldn't say huge.... but they have some tanks. Overall it's a pretty small fish room.... 20 gallon tanks. Worth a trip and to sign up for their mailers and they're big sales!

(not to mention helping out the local ma and pa shops!)

I'll swing by anyways to check it out.

Let me know if you guys want some good deal on a lot of Tanganyikans and Malawi, I know the owner.. I go to his house and his garage is packed with tanks full of fish.

please stay on topic with this thread. it's not about africans, it's about them having gymnogeos. period.
