going to be a great fight card, no doubt.

above all else, Fedor finally gets large exposure to an American audience of casual and first time fans that will watch since its on free tv. If Fedor comes out and fights like he always has, and wins in spectacular fashion (which im betting he will) he will do alot to propel himself, Strikeforce, and MMA as a whole. especially if he destroys rogers in a similar manner to Zulu or Sylvia.....exciting, clean, and over before you know it.
 
I'm sure hoping that's the case. I hope Grim looks good, though so people can't ***** too much about his opponents, lol.
 
i kinda hope that strikeforce does well. it will only help MMA as a whole. think about it..... what would make ufc better than trying to get cards together that would draw attention away from another company? plus, if fedor is going to fight in strikeforce, i hope they can attract some more talent, cuz the heavyweight division is pretty empty for strikeforce. this card means a lot in many ways
 
a few comments on the people I at least know a little about...

Jake Shields (No. 4 WW) vs. Jason “Mayhem” Miller

hoping for fight of the night here and a Mayhem win, but I think Jake will handily pull it off

Fedor Emelianenko (No. 1 HW, No. 3 PFP) vs. Brett Rogers (No. 6 HW)

easy to call the winner, IMO, but hard to call how....I'm thinking KO half-way through the first (i think Fedor will want to knock him out even though he can probably submit him much easier)

Gegard Mousasi (No. 7 LHW) vs. Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou

I love Soku, but he won't stand a chance

Antonio Silva vs. Fabricio Werdum

silva easily, I think, but Werdum has some tricks...could be another great fight

Jeff Curran vs. Dustin Neace

Curran pretty easily



however, judging from my 104 predictions, I'm screwed, lol
 
This is one of the better non UFC cards, but I wish they could have just thrown all their big dog's out there and just have a blowout night. It's not like they have a ton of shows anyway, I wish they would have been able to put everybody out there.
